Our Hosting solutions

All our hosting solutions are tailor-made, because we believe that no costumer
holds the same demands.

However, our core facilities are centered around a number of professional Open
Source tools, that provide a default setup for backups, monitoring, caching and
maintenance tasks.
We use Dell PowerEdge 1750 and Compaq DL360 machines, running Debian GNU/Linux as our operating system of choice.
This has proved very reliable over the years.

Monitoring

We actively monitor all our production portals and services with Nagios, a reliable
system for inspecting services, sites, disk space, etc. Nagios will emit an alert
in case anything goes wrong, so we can react accordingly. This usually is way before
you or your customers will notice.

Caching

To ensure fast response times for the portals we host, we make use of advanced
caching techniques, provided by the Plone product CacheFu, bit moreover by
Squid.

Statistics

Statistics are generated by AWStats and provide detailed overviews on your
hits.
